The film story involves the massacre of Kashmiri hindu Pandits, blood shed of innocent Hindu families by the Islamic terrorists. The horrific shootings and brutal murders carried out by the Islamic terrorists forced 5 lakhs Kashmiri Pandits to leave their homes in Kashmir in 1990s.A great research done by Director Vivek agnihotri on realistic conditions of the Kashmiri Pandits which will make you weeping and emotionally cry. This film is not for a weak hearted person. There is a scene where a Kashmiri lady pandit is put on a wooden cutting machine and killed the most horrible scene .All the performances are very real to situations .But Anupam kher has done a brilliant acting portraying a Kashmiri hindu Pandit.Till now hos best unforgettable performance. The film is 170 minutes long but you admire the realistic approach by Vivek Agnihotri.Salute to him for making such a bold film on Kashmir.
